TUNE-O-MATIC BRIDGE.

Hi. I have an ESP LTD M-10 in need of a bridge replacement. It's got a tune-o-matic bridge. Is the tune-o-matic bridge a generic creature that will fit all guitars? Or are there specific tune-o-matics for specific guitars? Can anyone point me in the direction of where I might get one that will fit the M-10. Maybe a link to a suitable one on e-bay. Thanks in advance.

Ought to be bog-standard, unless of course it isn't. You can get replacement ToM bridges all over the place. Try Axetec, WDMusic, Allparts etc

    http://www.axetec.co.uk/guitar_parts_uk_040.htm - £9 hardly a big risk ....

Check the mounting studs/bushes are the same type as on your guitar. If you get the same size "posts" you should be OK.
One example where you can see size diffs (not necessarily saying buy that one).

Absolutely correct - need to be clear if it is a thumb-wheel or screw fitting.

is it crazy how saying sentences backwards creates backwards sentences saying how crazy it is?
