Dream a little dream - covered by many inc Mamas and Papas - great moving chord line that supports the song

Elvis - Love me tender - in a cool laid back jazz vibe with finger style comp chord backing and/or  arpeggio

Lots of classical stuff tabbed here (some marked "easy"):

For example Romanza is this one:

(Cavatina is on that page too - though I can't recommend that one as I can no longer play it! A couple of stretches I can no longer make.)

Check out Nik Kershaw's recent acoustic sets
Roland said: Scales are primarily a tool for categorising knowledge, not a rule for what can or cannot be played.
Supportact said: [my style is] probably more an accumulation of limitations and bad habits than a 'style'.

  • Have you heard Paul Simon do Surfer Girl? That's a very good version.

Other than that almost every Simon and Garfunkel song will work.

As someone who spends all week in a town centre shop, the best piece you could learn is the one where you earn a days worth of busking money in an hour and then fuck off  :)

Not aimed at you personally, but i'm currently in the middle of what will probably be a six hour session of pan pipes. lol

Yes, won't be doing that. Been busking at an arts festival, 3x 30 min slots in 3 different places.

I used to work in the Angel Center in Tonbridge and there was one summer where every day a guy played penny whistle for 4 hrs...
