I expect someone to be along soon with the Axis of Awesome video.
I play guitar because I enjoy it rather than because I’m any good at it

It went well. Campfire was cancelled due to rain so we were inside. My mate (who owns a bee-keeping centre at an old RAF station, great old place) had made a 'BGT' stage complete with buzzers and light up red crosses above. It was a big piss take and everyone got up and made an arse of themselves.

My renditions of The Jam's That's entertainment and RHCP's Under the bridge were met with applause, singing and "oh my god you're really good etc" but I didn't care, it was just a great night.

    Cheers for the tips lads.

I was asked to bring my guitar and amp to a friend's house where we were staying for a night for a jam. I feel your pain because I hate jamming as it just goes on and on iMO. Well it does with jams I've played in . I refused his request by the way . No harm done and had a great weekend all the same

You're lucky it was raining, cos the real reason they wanted your guitar was to use it as firewood
If we are not ashamed to think it, we should not be ashamed to say it.
