I'd suggest the Boss CE3

- Early 80's
- Made in Japan
- Very close soundwise to the CE2
- Great functionality/A&B/Stereo etc
- They're still quite cheap and easy to find, generally priced between £50-£75 on ebay
- I managed to pick one up recently for £45 on gumtree
