Any vintage Japanese guitar nerds care to help me with a weird question?

I'm sure that at some point recently, I've seen an old 60s or 70s Japanese guitar with a very strange headstock, and I've been trying to find out what it is but to no avail.

It looks like the headstock on this old Guyatone:

Except, and you'll have to hear me out, sort of pinched in the middle so it's almost an hourglass shape, and the tuners were forced into an inline pattern - with three in the top half of the headstock, tuners facing the bass side, and three in the bottom half with the tuners facing the treble side.

Due to its similarity with the above headstock, I think it could be another Guyatone, but I'm really not sure.

Any experts in?
