Fender partscaster.

On a mad whim bought this (alleged) JV Strat from Japan a year ago. Boy did it have issues... but that faded white colour. Nomnomnom.

Cleaned it up, ditched the tele neck and added one from a MIM strat Deluxe - abalone dots, locking tuners, big fat 70's headstock. Pickups and wiring loom from a Fender '70s reissue.

(should add - the pic with the tele neck is simply to show what it looked like when it first arrived... More pictures of the guts of the thing available if anyone's interested)

Wasn't much impressed with the original bar magnet pickups but any purchaser is welcome to 'em. Selling to fund a life of dissolute abandon.  Would trade for a Jag, with perhaps a bit of cash either way.
