Katana Mini

Anyone else plunged on one yet? I picked one up whilst in Denmark St at the weekend.

Cool little amp, bigger than a BS Fly, smaller than a Micro Cube. Light as a feather but feels nice quality. Sound wise, all three modes are very usable and sound like they are coming from the same amp if you know what I mean. Clean and crunch are pretty dynamic, brown is great high gain fun, and the three band eq lets you dial in pretty precisely.
This doesn't feel or sound like a valve amp (obvo) and it doesn't feel or sound like a modelling amp (hasn't got that produced sheen to it), it's like a good quality Solid State amp that sounds bigger than it should. I believe the pre-amp modes are anolog based so no surprise I guess. The delay adds nice ambience, would prefer Reverb, but I think the delay circuit eats less power (when using batteries).

I've got a Fly and a Core 10 and Core 20 from the folks at Blackstar so can't justify another baby amp, but I like the looks of these!
You are the dreamer, and the dream...
