 Happy NGD @spark240 - I’m a sucker for a floyd. I’ve ended up with 4 out of 5 of my guitars having floyds including an Epiphone version of the Axcess - a plus top pro/fx in desert burst. I’ve just this week taken it out from under the bed to rejuvenate it with new pots and wiring so I can start gigging it again. 

There doesn’t seem to be a lot of
love for floyd trems on the FB and there’s probably even less  love for a les Paul with floyd as it’s seen as sacrilege- tell that to Alex Lifeson.

Lovely!    Gets a big vote from me - I spent a while looking for one and it's been my most used guitar for the last year.

I don't like Floyds and it does seem a little sacrilegious to put one on a Les Paul....

....but I actually think the Axcess is that rarest of things, a cool new design from Gibson.  I like the neck angle, the contouring of the rear body and neck heel, and it doesn't look "wrong" at all.  In fact it looks great.

This is actually my first Gibson  LP since I had a Deluxe about 30 odd years ago .

I love it.  I've mentioned this before here, but I had a Gold Top with a Kahler, years ago, locking nut and all.  I miss it but it was in bad shape by the time I sold it.(extreme fretware especially plus previous owner "mods") .  So far I have resisted the urge to whammifiy my 2015 LP 50's Tribute.....
