Its had a new fretboard, and neck reset - the original board was braz rw but too thin to save and had horrible inlays. Its also got a new bridge and pickup. I made pearloid guard to match the headplate but have never got around to fitting it
The closest i can find is a framus 5/57 Tango

1959 Guild X50. The P90(esque) pickup sounds glorious though a Memory Man with a hint of drive.
Current crop of old Archtops
1955 Hofner Committee
1961 Gibson Barney Kessel
1961 Gibson ES-125DC
1963 Customer order Gibson ES-175CC (carved spruce top, ebony board etc.)
My Metheny guitar is now 21, so that will be classed as vintage soon enough.
