Japan Signature STR-1 HB Custom Les Paul in alpine white.

These were made in small numbers with a very high spec in around 2006-2008 in the Fujigen factory I think?

All Gotoh and Grover hardware, long neck tenion, double bound, rosewood board.

There is some info online if anyone wants to read about the back story!

The guitar does have a few dents and the hardware is tarnished as usual. There is a couple of lacquer cracks around the neck joint too (see pics).

Yes they are very good quality guitars and quite rare. Can't get much better for the price they go for either!!!

@McToot the guitar is quite light in weight, haven't got any scales to weigh it but much lighter than the Gibson lp I had.

Thanks a lot mate. I've agonised about this, but I really need to keep my powder dry in case the 2018 Gibson Explorer is as nice  as it looks in the press...
