Well I sold the Les Paul eventually (sorry @Legionreturns ) with the intention of getting a Shiflett Telecaster. That all fell through so I am off to pick up this after work today

Fender Roadhouse Strat

the pick guard has to go, either mint or vintage white will go on. S1 switching etc

we all know you dont do Strats @Legionreturns ;
i have grown to like them over the last couple of year, always thought i was a humbucker kinda guy but as i get older i find the tone of a strat ( or tele ) much more pleasing.

Nice but if you change the scratchplate I would go Vintage white.

Ok home and played, it’s nice. It’s really nice. Is it nicer than my Squier CV? Yeah it is. Is the s1 switching useful? Yeah. Is the scratch plate horrible ? It’s not as bad in the flesh but it’s atill going for a vintage white one

Vintage white will look a lot better than MOTS.

I was going to ask how you found the s1 switching...
