NGD X2 -Gibson ES & Vintage Content

After a mini love affair with Gretch's for the last few months, I've gone back home which has always been Gibson semi's.

The 345 used to be mine and I've been missing it for a while so as these trade deals seem to work out, I traded both my Gretsch guitars for two other very similar guitars, from rockabilly to Noel Gallagher in 24 hours ey!

The second guitar and the cooler out of the two is a 1982 Epiphone Sheraton made in Japan in the Matsumoku factory. Plays and sounds pretty much identical to a 63RI 335 I used to own. I've never seen one with the flamed top and the pickups and hardware are from 1978 from the old Gibson Kalamazoo factory. 

I'll probably let one go at some point as they are a bit to similar but it might take a while to work out which is the better guitar...

Love the Sheraton (and of course the 345). I have a Matsumoku Riviera and it's an outstanding guitar.

I actually traded it for a Gibson '63 RI 335 a few years ago, thinking I was getting a great deal - I wasn't! I begged the seller to sell it back to me, after much persuasion he reluctantly did, luckily for me he needed a guitar with a trem.
