Squire Affinity and 'standard' Strat neck pockets

What's Hot
Here's a quick but fairly obscure one.

Anyone know if the new Squire Affinity Strat neck heels share the same shape and 2 3/16" width of a 'standard' neck pocket?

Yes.  All Squier and Fender Stratocasters have the same nominal dimensions.  Sometimes, however, you will find a tight or loose neck / pocket combination that needs a tweak.

Squier and Fender Stratocaster necks should be nominally accurate against that pocket, as should 'licenced by Fender' ones.  Some other suppliers, of course, may not be...

I'm sure if I'm wrong in any of the above, someone will soon come along and correct me ;)

@Andyjr1515 - thank you!  That's really helpful to know, much appreciated.

I would not trust the neck of either series to fit snugly into the pocket of the other without resorting to either packing or woodworking tools.
You say, atom bomb. I say, tin of corned beef.

I have come across Squier necks (although not sure if they were Affinity's) that have ranged between 55 & 57mm at the heel
