In 1979 I went on a COBOL programming course along with a couple of dozen others.

On the first lunch break I started that thing about any group of 25-30 people often throws up two with the same birthday, so we went round the group.  It turned out to be me and a girl called Portia - I think she came from Poynton.

Nobody would believe I hadn't set it up...
