ive said Partscaster as my budget probably doesn't stretch to something with a name on.

idealy, white or 2tsb maple, or sonic blue or candy apple red and rosewood
nitro finish, partial to a relic
jumbo frets would be lovely

but open to other options

I've got this MIM Strat, if it's of interest.





Well inside budget, at £320, so funds left over for tweaks/mods/fx.

When I bought it, it had been modified so that the neck pickup only had 1 pole-piece which went out separately via a stereo jack (to an octave pedal, so it would play the bass note off the bottom E string).

I've reverted it to the standard Strat 5-way/3-pickup configuration, with a Wilkinson neck pickup.

It had also had a Roland synth pickup on it at some point, so the holes are still there (I'd debated getting one to put on it). I didn't replace the scratchplate, as I also considered putting a humbucker in the bridge position (which would need a new one anyway), but that's at the back of the queue for jobs to do.

Now it's just a nice Strat.

Warmoth neck with roller nut & gold machines, Fender MIM body & trem, Iron Gear Tesla Shark humbucker & Tonerider City Limits middle & neck pickups, Schaller Straplocks.

I haven't quite got 'round to wiring up the tone pots yet, so there are just black stickers over the holes.

This is a damn good guitar! First time I tuned up and played a chord, I thought "Wow!".

It should be a keeper, but I've got a few too many at the moment.

Someone offered me this in part-ex on Facebook the other day. I might have been tempted if I hadn't just bought myself a Strat off here! He seemed a nice guy, so I'll do him a favour and post in here assuming that's within the rules?
