Candy Apple Red (relic) swamp ash strat body, full nitro - £135 shipped UK

Hey all, I have this body for sale. It was a test vessel for my two stage Candy Apple Red process and since became a bit of a test for some ageing... It's a guitarbuild swamp ash body, weight approx 2kg I think, nice and resonant, I used it for my main strat before refinishing it and it made a great guitar.

Painted in full nitrocellulose lacquer with home-mixed candy red lacquer and clear over Inca Silver and white cellulose primer.
 
Some large dings on the back which went quite deep - when it fell out of my car (not when travelling) cue jokes on the relicing process! It's not my normal thing, i don't really make relics, but hey thought I'd have a go as there were a few imperfections to hide. It actually came out quite well I think. Loads of checking and crazing (from freezer, not dodgy compressed air can job), loads of dings. Significant wear on upper horn where it caught fire. Yep. Barred from doing this shit in the kitchen now.

Paired with a dark rosewood fretboard neck it looks great - I was lucky to have a 64 neck lying around for some of these pics! Not mine sadly...

Weekend bump and price drop to £135 shipped in UK. 
Although it's a test piece the finishing was still done well - just not quite as nicely as this 1964 Jazzmaster I did afterwards!
