    Here’s two of mine

    Ditto!

I seem to remember reading a while ago (on Gretschpages, I think?) about your story of the orange one. Stunning thing.

Hi. Yeah I have a few gretsches so I can't remember.

Was it a thread about the Jim English gretsch style guitar in the picture I've just posted.

    Here’s a better picture

Yes, the Jim English guitar. You're lucky to have that one :)
I dont so much feel lucky to have it but more  honoured if you get what I mean.
There's not really any of them in the hands of normal people. Mostly just top thumb pickers. Tommy Emmanuel is friends with Jim and has one.
Imo it's the best gretsch you could get.

I'm in. I had 7 Bigsby'd guitars at one point, down to 1 now.

    Cool cats like them

Does anyone use those vibramate things?

Im thinking that a Bigsby would look great on my Sheraton but don’t know how to go about it.

Isnt there a no drill option?

The Vibramate stuff is good, I've used it before with zero issues. It didn't leave a mark on the guitar when I took it off either (as some naysayers will point out).

Leaves no holes in the guitar and makes instillation and breeze. I've drilled a guitar for a permanent Bigsby before and it was nerve wracking. I totally fucked it up too.

shame about the clunky metal thing on the front of it

It won't on a Sheraton or most other guitars, with a polyester finish. It can do on a Gibson with a nitro finish, which is soft enough that the felt pads can leave a dull mark.
