Gibson Les Paul Custom Special

I've avoided Gibsons for many years, however after watching True Widow videos all evening, I'm now thinking that one of these could be my next guitar. Anything better in a single cutaway cool as fuck way for this price? Anything to watch out for?

Mainly I’d have to point out that it’s not going to sound like a LP Standard/Custom with those specs. Try out some Studios instead - used ones can be had from £450+

It's kind of got a PRS S2 Singlecut/Mira kind of vibe. I would need to hear one and see how it feels but for £600 for a USA Gibson, it's worth trying one out.

This, though the guy from True Widow mostly plays an L6-S which is almost a halfway between an LP and an SG. Those Custom Specials may actually get quite close, but I'm not sure how much the body thickness will impact the sound.

Might also look at a Les Paul Studio or Junior - just really fancy a single cutaway basic twin humbucker guitar

I've seen far worse creations from Gibson regarding budget models - without playing it in the flesh as such, I think it looks okay and could see merits in a P90 version

Looks like a proper rock n roll guitar, I like the maple neck too.

Might make a good modding platform. Annoyed by the neck carve though.
