They are currently doing 4 for 3 on most strings - 4 sets of EB strings work out at just over £4 a pack.

I hate to defend the craptin but postage has to be around 3 quid, factor in staff time and all that jazz and 4.99 is pretty reasonable. He is running a business after all.
The Bigsby was the first successful design of what is now called a whammy bar or tremolo arm, although vibrato is the technically correct term for the musical effect it produces. In standard usage, tremolo is a rapid fluctuation of the volume of a note, while vibrato is a fluctuation in pitch. The origin of this nonstandard usage of the term by electric guitarists is attributed to Leo Fender, who also used the term “vibrato” to refer to what is really a tremolo effect.

He is correct, there’s loads of fakes but only buy from reputable places and you’re golden. I got a load of fakes a wile back, diddario replaced them for free and shop down the seller.

Really? Mine seem to last me forever, I don't get sweaty fingers at all so maybe it's that

They sound alright but played acoustically there is no ‘zing’. They do feel different to my usual brand though - I didn’t think I would notice.

  • I have read reviews on rotosound and they get mixed reviews, most folks on here don't like them it seems! I've just ordered a couple of sets of the exl110s above to try. Tbh you could string my guitars with barbed wire and i would still sound.the same  :/
