boss gt 1 vs zoom g3nx

Hi guys I am looking at getting a new multi effects unit for my pc and the two on my list were the boss gt 1 and the zoom g3nx both being similar prices.

Does anyone own these that can shed some light on them.  Which has the best tones and what’s the best overall?

I looked in to buying one or the other of these a month or so ago, as they seemed v well reviewed. However, I couldn't find any on Gumtree or Fleabay that were within my budget.

I ended up going for a Digitech RP360XP - a very similar type of thing. Got it for a bargain £50 on Gumtree. Very happy with it so far, got some decent tones out of it and is very user friendly which was a big plus for me as I'm a bit of a dunce with technology!

I realise that doesn't remotely answer your question(!),  but just thought I'd throw the Digitech into the mix as it does a very similar thing to the Boss and the Zoom. Hope it helps in some way.
