Initially I honestly did think that this was some elaborate publicity stunt. Now I know that Margate Prestige Sign Installations UK exists.

It's probably because I'm a bit of a saddo. Or is it??

totally agreed. the jokey tone of some media coverage of this story has been very dodgy too.

obviously the man has serious problems, for which has been called to account. he is hopefully addressing them in his own time and space in a way which will make him a better person.
i actually feel a bit sorry for him because he doesn't seem a happy or together person in this clip. he's clearly totally out of control and losing control is something that everyone is capable of, and everyone secretly fears. under the worst circumstances.
anyway, it's his own affair now. and beating people when they are down is poor sport.

but the other (not being spoken about) shocking thing to me is how he is picking up a cult 'Legend' status in certain sterioid-pumped-laddish corners of the media. that i have a huge problem with.
he was just a diamond geezer who had a bad day and embarrassed himself, it's a big laugh??
correction. this was a very big angry man who totally lost control of himself, being violent and threatening violence towards innocent members of the public in a busy train station in broad daylight. that's not funny, that's scary. hence the police taser.

the man is hopefully addressing his problems, the media and culture that is playing this 'legend' game is badly not being called to account. that's a big problem, because maybe that same media has shaped how this man reacts under pressure. 'lashing out under pressure is an acceptably manly outlet'? always unacceptable.

To me it just proves that Taser is completely justified and it’s use shouldn’t be brought into question. Just imagine if the Officer didn’t have Taser there - CS wouldn’t touch the guy, and clearly baton was useless. Unless they really went to town on him with a baton, breaking his limbs, which obviously is not cool.
