any opinions on this? I’d be running it with an 18 watt TMB and would like to monitor the output when gigging. Would the 5% output option be too quiet? If so probably not the end of the world as we have foldbacks...

Five % of 18W will still produce around 100dBSPL through a decent speaker but you would be pushing the amp to its limit.

Surely this is exactly what the Distance Trading Regs were made for? Buy it, try it and if not up to snuff, ship it back.

Had one briefly and returned it - all the usual issues levelled at a resistive loaf attenuator (ie you lose too much top and bottom as you get past -3 to -6 dB

The Airbrake does it much better (even though they take a similar approach on paper)
