Tone City Pedals: Golden Plexi vs Model M ??

Afternoon all,

I recently got a Tone City Golden Plexi little pedal - and must say it sounds very, very good, however....

Was also thinking of a Tone City Model M pedal, as it has a 'boost' option - which is a bonus...so I can have rhythm & lead channels etc.  

Now,

1. Has anybody compared them like for like in terms of sound ??
1.1 Do they sound similar ??

2. Would a 'tube creamer' pedal in front of Tone City Plexi work ('pumping' up plexi sound) ??

I haven't tried the Model M, but i do have a Golden Plexi and when using it with the All Spark boost (also Tone City), the results are very satisfying
