Using the Kingsley Bard for potential modding, what else could be drawn out of this pedal?
With the kind help of Simon from Kingsley, I modded the speed on the tremolo with a 3-switch resistor selector (normal, double, and maximum).
He also described how the footswitch could effectually work as a tremolo or boost switch (no bypass so the mod practically takes out the tremolo circuit but maintains the tube boost circuit). The boost is effectively the same as the LHS of the Jester without the extra tone choices. It takes all pedals exceptionally well, even full-on fuzz.
I wondered how distant the Bard is from the Page. Could a gain be introduced to the circuit?
Any realistic suggestions?
