Just bought a table anyone know a decent but cheap courier?

Needs to be picked up from Nottingham and delivered to Langley near Heathrow.

 Built a small wardrobe for somebody a while back, got a courier from eBay I think it was around £60 so not really cheap but none of the usual suspects would touch it.

Shiply is worth trying.

There must be a few carriers doing groupage that are based near Heathrow, someone will be bouncing home empty and glad of a cheap load to cover petrol prices.

We used Shiply to get a table from central London to South East Hampshire and it was very reasonable indeed, around £40 from memory. It was a solid oak 2.1 x 0.9 mtr table and it weighed a ton! The guy helped me lift it right into the dining area. 

Carriers bid for the work, you'll get a series of prices from different companies. Word of warning though - you'll probably get some very early, very expensive quotes. Wait for a day and the lower quotes will come in.

Thanks guys I am on the case. the cheapest so far is £59 which it not too bad, but I'll check out some of your suggestion above !
