SOLD: '65 Gibson Non-Reverse Firebird *PRICE DROP*

Early '65 firebird 1, refinished in aged pelham blue nitro, refitted with SD antiquity II pickups (wound on orig gibson machines! ) improved with a tuneomatic bridge. Machine heads replaced with 'like for like' quality and type.
Recently set up by excellent luthier who cleaned and adjusted the electronics. A great 'player's grade' vintage Gibson with no issues - plays and sounds amazing! Good, straight neck with no high points, twists or warps. Plenty of life left in the frets.
No case, but will be sure to package it safely if shipping required. Looking for £1500 (and no trades thanks).

Re: the colour debate. I think pelham blue was the intended refinish, but as I've seen on many blue oldies it does tend morph to over time into this equally lovely colour. Looks and plays amazing!

If it's anything like the old Fenders I'm lead to believe there's something in the aging of the nitro that turns the blues into a greener finish due to the nitro yellowing. You can see on some Oly White Fenders that go an almost custard yellow (depending on how thick you like custard of course :-) )
