Maxon OD808 or Boss BD2 better running into front of Vox AC15C1.....?

I was considering going for another look at the ac15c1 , the od808 has the mid hump and bd2 doesnt, i never use the drive control but instead always just use the level. for the beautiful neck and out if phase pick up settings on a tele with bell like sweet top end, which of the pedals do you think is more suited ?

I have used the maxon od808 for years and think it is ace.  I played the lead guitar in the theatre show Rock of ages  with it in my pedal board and it shredded beautifully.
