Tons of crap but even I'm not nerdy enough to actually itemize it all.

I've got a whole filing cabinet drawer full of guitar-related old shite. I'm not going to start hooking it all out, suffice to say most of it I'll never use, and most of it has come from abandoned projects, or stuff I thought 'might come in handy', which hasn't.

I’ve got a full set of original pickguard screws from a ‘63 Strat.

I bet they’re quite valuable these days....
    Oooooh! My birth year.....  ;)

The same as everyone else by the sound of it.

Does anyone actually use those pick cutters? I got one from a well meaning relative last year but it’s still in the wrapper... I’ve already got a tin full of picks.

I’ve also got a tone knob from a 70s Strat. We could probably build a whole vintage BitsaCaster between us.

  • Wiring loom from a Squier Strat

A pair of Gibson stoptail studs, but no bridge or threaded body inserts

Original scratchplate from a paisley Tele (see-through with pink around the pickup hole) even though it's had a white guard since 2005 and that's never going to change.

Broken Rat pedal that sounds great when it doesn't have an intermittent fault.

Having a look earlier, I found a 'harmonica bridge' for a 70's Gibbo in amongst all the old shite, along with various footswitches that I've never used. once again, the 'It might come in handy' ethos is showing through.

A few cocktail sticks left over from restringing my Tele

    ¿ Qué ?

You need to try D'addarios - they sound less wooden.

A few picks which is odd as I never ever use a pick.

Ernst Shrödinger PP3s - neither dead nor alive until tested.

    MIM Strat sustain block.

Boxes various guitar-related items turned up in.
I play guitar because I enjoy it rather than because I’m any good at it

  • Because my guitar bits drawer is the same one I use for bike bits, Mine also contains;

    37 Expired energy gels
2 boxes of stale power bars
13 inner tubes with the wrong valve type, for wheel sizes I've never owned.
    3 broken tyre levers
A handlebar mount for a Galaxy S4, which I no longer own and nobody buys anymore

2 Padded ones full of old plectrums
One hard case with dodgy latches

I too have a whole rack of drawers full of crap like this. HOwever, there are also some gems in there.

I found an ancient Jen Crybaby, with red fasel in it. No screws for the baseplate, but it works, and sounds ace.
Numerous polishes and lemon oil containers in various states of fill
    cloths, tons.
    Cables - all sorts
PSUs - for so many different things I have lost track of.
A Korg Kaossilator, totally forgot I had that.
    Korg Monotron -  as above.
Various pedals, usually Danaelectro plastic ones. How many tremelo pedals does a man need??
An EHX DrQ Nano - I think I bought that pissed in Soho, cant remember. Never used it, funny that. Must have been having a Bootsy Collins moment, who knows?
    Steel wool
Jack sockets and various wiring things.
    Solder

    I love my drawers....
