Dirt pedals with great volume pot clean up

lately I have really got into setting my amp to an edge of break up sound and then using a treble booster (with humbuckers) or germanium fuzz (with single coils) left on all the time and using the guitars volume to go from a chimey clean, through various stages of gain as needed. 

Im really enjoying playing this way ano was wondering if there were any other pedals that were very good at being used this way? Maybe a Skreddy hybrid fuzz driver?

I can confirm the Skreddy HFD cleans up very nicely with the volume pot... great pedal.

Try an EQD Crimson Drive

p.s. you might also like an EHX Germanium 4 Big Muff (ignore the name, nothing to do with a Big Muff), or an EHX Germanium OD
