Any fans of the great Redd Volkaert?

I'm a big fan of Redd and was wondering if there was any other fans on here...his name does pop up from time to time but i think he's one of the great guitarists alive today playing country.. western swing..blues... if you don't know him check him out! 

the solo he plays from 1.49 to 2 min 15 its mind blowing stuff!

Not only is he fantastic, but it's useful being able to show his videos to learners who claim they'll never be any good because their fingers are too fat.

Love him, saw hin in Austin years ago. Have all his records. Super nice guy too. One of those players that makes the jaw drop.

Seen him?! I've met him! Ha! He signed a strat for me that's also autographed by Vince Gill, J D Simo, Guthrie Trapp... (the list goes on!)

That's the strat - I still gig it fairly regularly!

I'll have to dig out some pics of when we were in Nashville! If you haven't been, you need to! You'd love it if you're into the same players as me!

Edit - still not as cool as your 60's strat may I add!
