Clever little money maker

A girl has setup a small stall in one of our local shopping centers. On the table is a very large roll of wrapping paper, boxes of ribbons and bows and a Sellotape dispenser. She wraps Christmas presents for people - a couple of Euro for wrapping a decent sized box. She is busy as I write. Genius.

They have people doing this in the local shopping mall every Xmas. Good for her for giving it a go by herself.

I wouldn't let my daughter do that, a right can of worms waiting to be opened. There was that story last year where a little girl selling a lemon drink on the street at the height of summer got busted by the council and they handed her a £50 fine. What a pair of bastards!

Yeah, if the taxmen over there are like those here in the UK, she'll be in a forced labour camp before sundown!

Taxman won't get a chance, elfin safety would be all over that in a minute.

Sellotape - can be used to gag a person
Sellotape dispenser - cutting edge could be used to serrate someone quite painfully
Ribbons - strangulation risk
Wrapping paper tube - can be used as a weapon in the hands of the untrained.

She would need to go on a course - "Injuries caused by everyday objects and how to avoid them - because we don't think that common sense is enough".

I did festive wrapping one Christmas, but I had to give it up.
