I have one and like it a lot for roughing out song ideas. There's plenty of variation in sounds and velocity, all of which you can change after the thing's come up with the beat. Mine's also connected to a Jamman solo xt via "jamsync" so I can bung a bassline or 2 on there and step thru the loops with a footswitch ... I haven't used the actual strumming the beats function much, as the pads on top are fine ... so all in all quite happy with it

I plan to do the same as you, by implementing a Jamman Solo XT.

Do you find that they sync ok with no issues ?

Sync seems to be good (you do have to leave the tempo alone on the sdrum once you've done the loops) and of course you can daisychain more JamMans, controlling the whole thing with multiple FS3X footswitches ...
