I sold this to a friend and bought it back, as the fretwork is better than on some of the Guitars that cost me £1K and the timbers are fab.

The only negative is that I needed to use plumbers tape around the whammy bar insert, so that it doesn't move about so much, but other than that...

Sounds really sweet through a Vox Amplug and it could be a good work-based Guitar etc. You can't go wrong.

I would liken your G240 to the Squier Standard Series Stratocaster - only yours has better pickups and is not blighted with that two-point vibrato with non-standard pivot spacing.

The VM is Basswood, Duncan Designed and 6 Point, whereas the Standard is Agathis, Squier Stock and 2 Point, but the Cort is missing the Big Headstock and the Neck Profile is more Ibanez than Stratocaster IMO
