OMG that big electric motor right next to the pickups is asking for trouble!

A few years ago I saw a thing you could mount on the front of your guitar and it would pick individual strings.  Should work for chord or arpeggio playing too.  It was a Kickstarter project I think - not sure if they ever went into production.  Anyone remember that?

If this was developed it would be ideal for someone like Edwyn Collins. Seeing his wife strum his guitar while he fingered the chords was very sad.

Could be handy for the drummer in Def Leppard,, if he wanted to dabble with a bit of guitar as well? Or captain hook?

He does say that its a prototype.   Im sure once he's worked it up to a full production version it will be fine.
