MACKIE REACH - any users having Bluetooth problems ?

I love the concept of this piece of kit from a quality manufacturer, and it sounds great for small gigs especially smaller acoustic stle arrangements. BUT I get so miffed when the Bluetooth drops out leaving barely any control. I find it stubborn to reconnect sometimes - very temperamental !! I really wish it had been Wifi instead, or even a hardwire option for control. I thought it was worth researching if anybody has experienced same (apparently it's quite notorious!) and how they work round it.
