Has your dream guitar changed since you grew up?

Mine was this:

But after a series of SGs I realised I don't find them comfortable, its now this:

How could a heavy slab-like Telecaster be more comfortable than the gently contoured body of a light SG? There's more sharp sticky-out bits on a Tele bridge than a T-o-M. Is it that the neck fits your fretting hand better?

Like all 50's  early 60's kids all I wanted was a red strat and later a White Falcon to go with it .I did have a great amp in the end ,a ReverbRocket .I found true love in a Tele  but decades later  .Now I have a Midtown ,a Tele and a much loved Keiper 109 ,plus some dumpster finds and cheapo Gumtree  must have as they only cost a few quid .My main  amp is now a DV Mark Little jazz and Joyo American sound pedal .i play a lot of jazz now .
