The Painted Player Guitar Co - anyone ever used them?

For decades now I’ve always wanted an Andy Summers style telecaster, complete with pre-amp circuit. The Fender custom shop job is nigh on impossible to get hold of (and very expensive), so I was wondering if anyone here has ever used this company and if so what do you reckon? I’d want a non-relic, but that’s by the by!

Buy a second hand tele, or Guitarbuild body, Allparts/GSP neck and all the bits and send it to one of the painters on here.  Quality guitar for £5-600

£1700 for a Mexican Tele! I am absolutely sure there are members in the making and modding section who could help you source and fit the parts to an American Tele and have a considerable amount of change.
