Tokia Strat gotta be worth £300
Ibanez Roadstar prob struggle to make £250 despite being superb
    Nylon acoustic £30 maybe
    2 x HT5 heads £300 the pair
Home made pedals probably wouldn't sell, neither would home made cabs

Roadstars.. so underrated but hard to find in decent condition!

If it's still got the backstop fitted in the tremolo cavity you'll get a lot of money for that alone.

@HarrySeven would you take an Um Bongo instead?
    Kia-Ora?

Although it should be noted that it’s too orangey for crows.

  • About £700 all in. That's a 2017 Gibson LP Tribute, a Vintage V100, a Spear Evil Monkey and an Encore Strat.

It's a hard tail model with no scratch plate. I've never actually seen another one like it. It was brought in 86 by a good friend from Nevada music, price was reduced because the paint had been damaged by a smash and grab raid on other guitars. The pickups are active, single conductor & earth cables but the guitar did originally achieve  a  coil tap sound by having filters built on a little PCB on the tone pots. Sadly my friend destroyed this feature during one of his many pickup swaps .... always going back to the original pickups because they have characteristics similar to EMG's,  but to me sound sweeter and more toneful

I have seen many old Ibanezs but honestly you would have to play this guitar to know how good it is, everything is effortless on it and it flatters the player. Little noodle vid :

My friend sold it to another friend in the nineties after it had done about a thousand gigs. He sold it to me about 5 years after and I've had it ever since. I estimate it's done about around 2500 gigs over it's 32 years .... only ever really been in soft cases and not looked after that well really .... it makes a mockery of so called relics as even after all those gigs it;s still basically sound.
The original owner has tried to buy it back many times but I won't sell it, it's an exceptional guitar but cos it's not a Gibson or a Fender or even an RG it's probably worth less than a Squire :)

What he didn't tell you is all he owns in a Squier Strat, a Line 6 Spider and 1,300 Boss Metal Zones.

Three and a bit grand, all in, I reckon..
so if you fancy a reissue of a guitar they never made in a colour they never used then it probably isn't too overpriced.

About £6 or £7k. I haven't put any new money in for years though. Any new purchase forces a sale.

never done this; brief tot-up shows it would cost me about 20k to replace, which was a bit surprising!! Have to add that almost half of this is a handful of high end items ie my Universe MC - only examples I can find online currently are a couple that sold at Greenwoods for £3495 each, and one on Reverb at c. £4100. Silly money.

Worked it out to be an optimistic resell of £1800ish and a spend of just over £3k for current gear.

Cost of gear i use on a regular basis.. £650 spend, £350 resell..

The value of my good guitars is offset by the ones I would have to pay someone to take away.  I keep them for the good of society, and music lovers.

I mostly gig with a pair of old Roadstars an 80s roland cube and a matsomoku frankenstrat.
All pretty much worthless, but irreplaceable to me.
I've got a studio shed full of other stuff, but most of it makes @HarrySeven ;'s collection look classy.
