Mini humbucker gone microphonic?

Haven’t tried it at high volume yet, but have noticed the Duncan vintage mini HB I recently put in my tele neck is really sensitive to plectrum or even finger impact on the cover - more so than the normal size covered hb’s in another guitar for instance. The pickup’s getting in for 20 years old.

The only other thing is that it does wobble a bit in the scratchplate - don’t know if that has any influence.

What sort of price is a re-potting?

About £15. But it may not be microphonic. Symptoms are uncontrollable howling feedback particularly with crunch or distortion at relatively low volumes.  So crank your amp a bit to find out.
