Anyone here tried the Epiphone Limited Edition Korina Flying-V ?

It arrived today, super lightweight and low action. Saw this video and took a punt based on his review, will report back my findings soon.

Not sure if you might be interested but I've started on a decluttering / clearout and have a Korina Flying V that might interest you if you wanted to avoid buying new to satisfy your itch. I'll just put a couple of pix here for now but can take more as needed.

Serial number is U01080066 which appears to make it a Korean (Unsung plant) build from 2001.

I was thinking of £250 and wouldn't realistically be able to ship due the weird shape and utter distrust of couriers but me and Mrs Hippo are always up for a road trip to meet up.

There is some age related tarnishing of the hardware which I guess is because it's hung on the wall for 15 years. I'm not a guitarist and bought this ('fessing up time - just because I wanted one).

I'll shift this into classified as don't want to violate the rules but though it might be helpful to flag up in this thread.

Bump! How're you getting on with this one @Stonevibe - still got it? I'd missed that the newer run were all-solid korina/limba, and now they've caught my attention properly! What's the neck like?

Good guitar, the neck isn't huge and it is lightweight. The nut was a bit rubbish and so I whacked a new one on there, the rest of it is decent and it plays well.

I really don't play it as much as I should at the moment, as have been busy with other stuff.

Not to de-rail the thread but does anyone have the Bonamassa Amos lying V? if so what are your thoughts?
