I heard that the Boss gt1000 name was inspired by the speed of the earths rotation.

Obviously not or it'd be called the Boss GT0 And well Boss knew that wasn't going to be a good seller! You see the earth is immovable only God himself can shake its foundations and then its pillars will tremble.

tried one this afternoon with headphones, found the natural amp and JC120 by far the best (only usable?) amp models straight out of the box. Was actually surprised by how good these two sounded and reacted.
all the other ones had a flagrant d.i quality to them that i find hard to enjoy... 
The effects sound great.. still kind of disappointed that there is no modeling unit able to get close to a vox

Doesn’t state anywhere in the discription that he took it apart in his kitchen table, or that it is now infested with negative vibe, man!

Aye, I was wondering how warranties stood up if you had proof that the previous owner took it to bits and poked around it...

I thought opening anything up like that invalidated the warranty, besides are warranties transferable anyway? Always funny when people want near retail price for 2nd hand gear because "it's only a few weeks old", it's still 2nd hand mate
