Victory VX The Super Kraken

So yeah, it's the bigger brother of the Victory Kraken. Two channel amp with 100w and MIDI. Power can be cut down to 30w. Nice portable size (12kg or so) and it also looks absolutely bloody gorgeous.

Only thing that may put me off is the price but Victory have been knocking it out the park recently.

This looks amazing but the v30 mkii is what im interested in buying. Even 30w mode will be too much for my needs i feel but it looks seriously feature laden and sounds great.

I also can't wait to see what else they have to show ay namm. This year looks amazing for rock/metal players with the orange terror heads and the prs mt15 and the new bareknuckle stuff. Plus we havent seen Marshalls offerings yet which should he interesting given the hype shown in the.thread on here.

Bit disappointed Orange didn't release a limited edition OR80 or something to celebrate their 50 years. I can't be arsed with their little terror series of amps.

Yeah the Kraken preamp looks a thing of beauty.

Although I might consider saving up and going for the Super Kraken. It seriously looks and sounds the business.

No word on price yet. My Carvin legacy preamp pedal came in at £500 which I thought was a little steep 

Hopefully these will come in at around the £400 mark

Had a play on this at the guitar show, and its a beasty thing! (as good as any can sound a really freakin' noisy hall).

anyone spent much time with one yet, particularly to compare with the 50w version?
