The serial number daters don't always work for everything, and a quick google confirms they did indeed have two string trees.
had the Strat version, lovely necks
I can confirm that this is a genuine fender however, I am also aware that there are issues with the korean serial numbers. If you google 'Korean Fender Telecaster serial numbers' there are a number of sites which can help with identification. I hope this helps
A quick response and he has very good feedback, a bit happier about bidding now: )
Thanks guys!
Made by Cort for Fender iirc.
Very nice guitars for the money and they have a modern wide/flat fingerboard. The SD pickups were stock and sound very nice.
There are a bunch of reviews of this model online and they are predominatly positive, most of the negative ones are from snobs who don't like the non USA or the modern fingerboard compared to the custome shop 52 whatever.
I mainly play my AVRI52 RI these days for Tele duties but haven't sold the Lite Ashe because it's just a great guitar.
At the listed price of £200 thats a belter IMHO. check recent completed online auction sales to get a feel for current prices, they are not uncommon guitars and were the trendy Tele before the Baja models.
Nice that he got straight back to you with a reasonable answer.
Good luck.
the Stray i had was a heavy bugger
