Hudson Broadcast — amazing.

Just arrived today, bought used. So far it’s amazing. I’ve been looking for the right dirt sound forever, and never found it. I wanted a thicker version of my regular sound, which gets a bit fuzzy at the edges when I hit the guitar hard. I used to have a Reverend with P90s and that would do it alone. Now I have it in a pedal. It’s rich and dirty.

I haven’t tried the high gain stuff yet, other than just flipping the switch to see if it works. It may finally knock my DMM off the board (I use the DMM as a clean boost, which it’s amazing at).

I've been thinking about these after hearing on one TPS. Nice score

  • It is. It’s one to keep on all the time. I’ve been using it with a Strat into a Princeton Reverb, and it sounds sweeeeet.

Won’t get a disagreement out of me. Simply the best drive pedal I’ve tried.

Suits you you if you prefer a little fuzzy sound rather than TS.

    Genuinely brilliant though

New around here so hello! Been looking at these for some time to get the sound of my small tweed amps cranked at lower volume.  On the low gain setting from the demos I've heard it sounds really effective.  Higher gain seems to get that Neil Young sort of raunchy drive.  It must sound great with p90's. Definitely on the radar!

  • Dunno what is going on but I can't find one to order.

  • OP said in his WTB thread that he doesn't use one side of the pedal at all, so no need for the extra footswitch (I believe...) :)

But as far as I know, the two-button version sounds the same as the one-button. Why not just never ever press that button? Maybe he has some kind of button-related OCD?

Yeah, but it was more of an offer to others who may have the one button version, but wanted the two button instead.

OP bought/paid for the one button version but was sent the 2 button instead, so kinda surplus to his requirements

    I'm just picky really :)

I don't need to switch between low and high gain modes as I keep it in one mode all the time. The extra footswitch bugs me as I'll never stand on it.....i know, there's probably something wrong with me lol

I find internal trims to balance the 2 gains a faff too .
