Rocktron Valve Sonic rack pre-amplifiers

I have been waiting over three years for Rocktron to bring their Valve Sonic series of rack mount valve pre-amplifiers to market. Now that the first of the range is available, I'm no longer convinced that I really want/need one.

It was the Top Boost variant that I craved. I have a MESA 20:20 power amp. The idea of a stereo AC15/AC30 appealed. Unfortunately, the control array of the pre-amps suits studio use rather than stage.

I too have been waiting years for these - the Marshall one just sounded exactly as I thought it should, I was so impressed when they were unveiled. But I got bored, got into heavy music and now I want a PRS MT15! You snooze you lose.
