What's this guitar?

I think the band's called the Cactus Blossoms. What's this tiny guitar he's playing?
Is it some sort of old Harmony?

It's an early 50s National... possibly a 1122 Cosmopolitan. There was a twin-pickup version with block markers, too. Very cool.
