  • I really like that.
I just wish the pickups were different
The Bigsby was the first successful design of what is now called a whammy bar or tremolo arm, although vibrato is the technically correct term for the musical effect it produces. In standard usage, tremolo is a rapid fluctuation of the volume of a note, while vibrato is a fluctuation in pitch. The origin of this nonstandard usage of the term by electric guitarists is attributed to Leo Fender, who also used the term “vibrato” to refer to what is really a tremolo effect.

Where do you get hold of used skateboards in those kind of numbers ?

Does make me chuckle though, when I was starting to get into guitars in the late 80s it was a big deal to graduate from your first plywood bodied guitar to a ‘real’ solid wood one because that was where yer real tone was..

I love this company and the guitars they make.

Although I can't say I'd ever buy one over a collings or suhr in that bracket

Try your local S.O.S. (Skater Owned Shop) or an indoor skatepark near you.

As a child of the '70's, can I put in for a Raleigh Chopper version?

I don't like stripes and I don't want a plywood guitar, but I can't deny that it looks good.

    That's lovely.

Strangely I'd like a scratchplate on it. Offsets look weird without them to me.

It looks fantastic but apparently they weigh a ton due to the dense nature of the ply and all the glue sticking it together.

Prisma's are insanely expensive n all , which is a shame, plus their 335 a like, has a bolt on neck, that puts me off straight away :)
