In the throes of buying another Strat and the intention is to meet up and collect it at the end of the week  Paying by paypal.  Does collecting it affect my position in any way?   Seller seems ok with good feedback and so on; just checking to make sure that I don't put myself in an unfavourable position if it's shite.

You're fine as you'll def walk away with the guitar, they're not protected by seller protection as you could claim it want you that made the payment.

So in short - you're good.

Just make sure you fully check the guitar out before you leave. You have no buyer protection if collecting as PayPal expect you to have inspected the item. In short, if you find something wrong a week down the line, tough
