Yes, I was there.

Really enjoyable evening (as was the Greg Koch one), bit of a schlep for me from central London - but very enjoyable.

Much more entertaining than I expected to be honest, good stories and a real guitar nerd.

And an amazing player - not entirely my style but loved it.

Played a Morgan 50W head, and was loud!

Also plays a Tele with 13-52 gauge strings, can't imagine that! Got tendonitis going from 10's to 11's!

I went too (from the Sussex coast, so significantly more schleppy!) and really enjoyed it. I chatted to him for a bit before the show and he was a really amenable and affable bloke - more than happy to talk about gear and technique and whatnot.

Unfortunately I can't go to any of the tour dates because of work commitments, but this was a nice little alternative!

P.S. He's been playing 13's since he was 14 years old!
