I'm using Quantum 9.02 at the moment, but will update it to 9.04 if you want me to.

There's no need for me to go into the specifics on this one. Fractal's Axe FX is quite simply breathtaking and absolutely hands down the single best piece of equipment I've ever bought to compliment my guitar collection. Sublime.

Needless to say, I'll never go back to pedals and amps again, I'm sold on digital modelling now. If, like me, you're skeptical about giving up your beautiful tube amp and signature crafted  tone, use this bargain price to get you into the digital world and hopefully you'll never look back either.

Must admit I was tempted to buy your XL to upgrade my AFII, but I really need a portable Fractal solution for jams,etc. Was gutted I missed out on Cbellengas AX8 on here for £900 recently as I was dithering.

I will consider the AF3 in a few years once price and supply are more stable.

I feel your pain mate, I too have been weighing up portable solutions, but the OCD inside knows full well I'd struggle with various limitations that come along with that...so I'm opting for power and CPU at the expense of that posrtability. The way I look at it is that it's still a lighter and more portable rig than my old pedals/amp setup - but much more powerful :-)

Nice, I hope you like it.
I've gone backwards and just play my JTM45 now with a nice reverb in front, bliss. I'd really like the reverb tank in the classifieds, lovely thing.
